## Job description

As an **Automotive Product Engineer**, you will take responsibility for released IC products within the supply chain and play an important role in bringing new products successfully into high-volume production. Working at the intersection of **product engineering, quality, manufacturing, test, and operations**, you will contribute your technical expertise and structured problem-solving skills to continuously improve our automotive semiconductor products.

**Your Responsibilities:**

- Take ownership of **automotive IC products within the supply chain after product release**
- Define and drive **product characterization and qualification** activities and document the results
- Support the **ramp-up of new products**, particularly in the **UWB and RF/LF areas**
- Track, analyze and report **product performance regarding cost and quality**
- Drive **continuous product improvements** related to cost reduction, quality enhancement and technical issues
- Lead and support **operations projects**, such as backend second-sourcing activities

**Your Profile:**

- Degree from a **Technical University or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule)** in Physics, Electronics, Information and Computer Engineering or a related technical field
- **5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry** (Product Engineering or a comparable role)
- Basic understanding of **statistics**
- Strong **project management skills**
- Experience with **quality management methods such as FMEA, DOE and 8D** is a benefit
- Knowledge of **quality engineering, IC fabrication and IC testing** is an advantage
- Strong **customer-oriented mindset**
- **AI know-how** is a plus
- **Structured and analytical approach** to your work
- Effective and confident communication across different teams and functions
- Proficiency  in **English**

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
